I have set this up as a way to share how fasting has helped you or scriptures you use to help others understand fasting.
Acts 14:21-25
21They preached the good news in that city and won a large number of disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch, 22strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. "We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God," they said. 23Paul and Barnabas appointed elders[a] for them in each church and, with prayer and fasting, committed them to the Lord, in whom they had put their trust. 24After going through Pisidia, they came into Pamphylia, 25and when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia.

Ok, so I have finally been able to fast, WOW. It was definitely hard for me to get into a full day. I have tried to give a day but fall short and settle for only felling a little needy, but when I actually comit a time of 12 to 12, a full 24 hour period, it is amazing to see how much I depend on food. Simple things make me smile, like the air we need to the food we eat. Why do we need these things soo much, well ask youself this, why do we need to be here to beging with? Fasting will reveal alot of things, including your heart.
